When did you start your business?

5 years ago.

Do you consider the location of your shop a key factor to the business’s success?

Yes. @ intersection off the 101 Stinson Beach Exit which leads to highway 1 and all the popular beaches in Western Marin County.

Who is your average buyer?

Moms in range rovers, 16 year old kids rooting around in our $1 sticker box and everything in between.

If a total Barney walks in do you treat him with the same respect as a full on loc?

Better. The barneys don’t get discounts.

What is the dumbest question a customer has ever asked?

Do you have the kind of food that my dog likes???(we have a pet store next door).

Do you have a mascot (ex. - An animal that roams freely throughout the building)?

Pat Judah.

What is the craziest return a customer has ever tried to make?

Used Booties.

Does your store support any local surfers or have a surf team?

We have a small surf team and a few shop skaters.

What is your most annoying grom story?

Every time one of the high school kids we sell surfboards to paddles out and snakes us in the line-up at our local spots. Gotta love the it!

Have you ever had any type of celeb roll in and make a purchase? Sean Penn, Robin Williams and Pat Judah.

Have you ever pulled a hot chick/guy solely due to the fact that you own/manage a surf shop?

We pull more ass than 5 toilet seats combined.

How many days a week do you surf now compared to before you owned/managed a surf shop?

Easily 2-3 times more.

Who is your favorite surfer and why?

Dane Reynolds. He’s the got the full on contemporary package, but also a solid repertoire of time-less fundamental shit that won’t fade after the ankles and knees go out!

Has a customer trying on clothes ever walked out completely naked?

Nope.

Has a person ever walked in totally blitzkrieged (really intoxicated) and tried to make a purchase?

If so elaborate. All the time. You hear stories that never end, and if I properly answered this question the answer wouldn’t either.

Every store has to deal with shoplifting. What is your most memorable experience and what is your shoplifting policy?

Kill em all and let god sort em’ out. Just Kidding, we encourage it. It keeps us on our feet!

And last but not least tell us one of the craziest shop stories you can remember?

A guy bought 1 bar of wax and paid us with a black card.
